The Sleeping Seeds
A playful music theatre show for families. Two musical gardeners go on an adventure to raise a seedling and raise a racket. Rake & Roll!
The Sleeping Seeds are a pair of musical gardeners who have a very special seed asleep in their seed bed. Join them as they nurture and encourage this little seed to mature and take its place in the world.
Expect catchy songs, unusual instruments and fun joining in. Rake & Roll!
This is a relaxed performance for all ages and includes BSL performance signing. Most shows are outdoors.
The Sleeping Seeds is created by Fox & Rocha, produced by Curiosity Productions in partnership with Black Country Touring with support from Arts Council England.

The artists Fox & Rocha combine their signature sounds of voice, harp, strings and bellows, alongside sounds with unusual instruments, including garden objects such as watering cans and trowels.
The show provides a range of opportunities to encourage further creative learning projects with children as a wraparound to the performance experience, including exploring gardening and nature, music making, and storytelling. There will be a series of activity and education packs that we’d love to share with you.
